Aleksandar Jakovljević was born on 11th January 1972, in Belgrade. He obtained BSc and MSc at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade. Since 2008, he has been at the position of the Head of Strategy Department in PE Electric Power Industry of Serbia, currently in charge of strategic issues, business planning and regulatory relations. Coordinator, initiator or member of the team for preparation of strategic documents of PEElectric Power Industry of Serbia, as well as of key investment and corporate projects in the company, including financial consolidation which is being implemented in cooperation with international financial institutions. He has taken part in preparation of strategic documents of the Republic of Serbia in the energy sector – Energy Sector Development Strategy, as well as of the Strategy Implementation Program. He took active part as a support to Serbian delegation within activities in Energy Community, primarily during negotiations related to application of directives regarding operation of thermal power plants. He is the member of delegation of the Republic of Serbia for bilateral screening for the Chapter 15 – Energy and the Chapter 27 – Environment in the process of accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union. Participant and speaker in a large number of conferences in the country and abroad.
