Erich Cossutta was born in Trieste in 1975 and comes from a family that is been active in transport, shipping and logistics in the Balkans and Middle East for multiple generations. Established in 2005, he is the President of Dragon Maritime Group, a group that operates in the sector of marine transport, logistics, port and inland terminals focusing on the Balkan region and Central Europe. Dragon Maritime represents Cosco in the Western Balkans with Cosco shipping being the third largest shipping company in the world and through its hub in Piraeus connects markets of Central and Eastern Europe with the world intermodally.
Erich Cossutta is President of Confindustria in Serbia and in Montenegro, which is the main European entrepreneurial organization representing 150.000 Italian manufacturing and services companies with more than 5.000.000 employees.
Additionally, he has an active role in the Board of Confindustria Est Europa as deputy vice-president with responsibility for Associative Development.
