Minister of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia

Born in 1978 in Belgrade, she graduated in banking and finance from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade and received her Master’s Degrees in finance and management from SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, Italy, and from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles.

She has published several scientific papers on the topics of public-private partnerships and on project finance, in cooperation with the University of Belgrade. She is a guest lecturer at Master’s Degree Program at the University College London.

She was appointed to the position of Minister of Mining and Energy after serving as a member of the Executive Board of NLB Komercijalna Banka since 2021. Previously, she had served for five years as the Head of the Regional Representation Office for the Western Balkans of the European Investment Bank (EIB), the largest multilateral financial institution in the world and one of the largest creditors of the Western Balkan countries.

She brought to the Serbian government a wealth of 18 years’ international experience of working in financing large corporations, investments and projects in the fields of energy, transport, telecommunications, innovation and other industries, as well as experience in financing small and medium-sized enterprises which are the pillar of the Serbian economy.

Prior to coming to the position in the EIB in Belgrade, she was the Manager for Serbia, North Macedonia and Albania at the EIB headquarters in Luxembourg. At the same time, she was also in charge of public-private partnership projects and project finance including Ireland, France, Great Britain and the Benelux countries. In 2013, she received the Project Finance magazine award –European Airport Deal of the Year2013.

Prior to her career in banking, Djedović worked in media and communications industry.

She speaks English, French, Italian and Russian.
